Matthew Wallin, Esq.
As an attorney with Joe Young Law, Mr. Wallin focuses his practice in the areas of employment law, family law and civil litigation.

Prior to working at Joe Young Law, Mr. Wallin worked at a boutique special education firm in Massachusetts, where he assisted students in obtaining their educational needs. Mr. Wallin was also previously employed as a law clerk with a civil litigation firm. As a clerk, Mr. Wallin oversaw the administration aspects of multi-million dollar class-action medical malpractice law suits. Additionally, he assisted in insurance trial litigations alongside Jan Schlichtmann, the attorney of A Civil Action fame.

Mr. Wallin is a graduate of Western New England School of Law in Massachusetts. While in law school, Mr. Wallin was twice named to the Dean’s List, recognizing his academic achievements. He was also one of eight students selected to participate in the school’s Legal Services Clinic. As part of the clinic, he worked with Western Mass Legal Services, advocating for indigent clients in the community.

Prior to law school, Mr. Wallin was employed at several technology and data communication companies in the Seattle area. Mr. Wallin is a graduate of Western Washington University, with a B.A. in history. When he is not working, Mr. Wallin is an avid reader, and also enjoys photography and cooking.
